Hi guys,

Just trying to install forge for my son - I've done this once before about 2 years ago, but my memory is a bit hazy. I can't find the appdata / minecraft folder - I have searched using the run command, looking for %APPDATA%\.minecraft   but it just says that it can't find the folder/doesn't exist. I have no where to install Forge, because whenever I try it asks to be taken to that directory. Any ideas on what I need to do? Minecraft v.1.14.1 definitely installed on the computer

Cheers!

If you just use %APPDATA% in your run command, can you find the .minecraft folder manually that way?

Not sure if it would matter or not, but I'd also make sure to run vanilla MC first before installing forge.
