When I run gradlew eclipse I get the source code but the code is still obfuscated. I read that the correct approach to solve this is to use MCPBot. In the website it says that I should replace "mappings channel: 'snapshot', version: '20191219-1.14.3'" with "mappings=stable_60" in the build.gradle file. When I do this and run gradlew build in command prompt, I get the follow stacktrace:

The problem is that there is no file at the link https://files.minecraftforge.net/maven/net/minecraftforge/forge/1.15.2-31.1.0_mapped_stable_60/forge-1.15.2-31.1.0_mapped_stable_60.jar. I tried to search that link manually and I got no results. What should I put in build.gradle that will allow MCPBot to deobfuscate the class files?

You'll be better off using the latest snapshot, stable 60 is a couple months old.

As for what you're calling "obfuscated", I've explained the process to the best of my ability in this post:

An overabundance of SRG-named methods does not mean there's a bug, it means that human-readable names for those methods haven't been assigned yet.

Note that all of these names are community-sourced through an IRC bot directly or by proxy through our Discord bot.

This is my Forum Signature, I am currently attempting to transform it into a small guide for fixing easier issues using spoiler blocks to keep things tidy.

As the most common issue I feel I should put this outside the main bulk:

The only official source for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net, and the only site I trust for getting mods is CurseForge.

If you use any site other than these, please take a look at the StopModReposts project and install their browser extension, I would also advise running a virus scan.

For players asking for assistance with Forge please expand the spoiler below and read the appropriate section(s) in its/their entirety.
