Minecraft forge crashes on initialisation

Hello,

I use Anarchy Linux which is basically Arch Linux in all respects, I have reinstalled minecraft and the launcher multiple times and all have crashed,

Vanilla Minecraft functions as normal which is even stranger. I have posted the crash report below. All help is greatly appreciated.

 

The game crashed whilst initializing game
Error: java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError: null

I do not believe Java 13 works with forge, I think Java 8 is the recommended version

Oh, I wasn't aware of that. I will attempt to downgrade java then update. Thanks!
