1.7.10 Download

When i try to download forge 1.7.10 to my mac it goes abouty 1/4 of the way down the bar and says "unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz" it has stayed like this for a few hours. is there anyway to fix this problem/make it go faster
