Im currently playing on a friend's aternos minecraft server and i suddenly get a "minecraft demo" thing or gui, telling me i have 1 in-game days to play which is 1 hour and 40 minutes left, on the world, and it shows me that when i completly OWN the game? My friend got these messages before HIS minecraft account got hacked and not working, please someone help me and give me information with this, I'm scared!

I would go and change your minecraft.net password right away if you believe that is the case. Make sure you use good password practices when you do so.

Make sure you do not enter any personal information (minecraft password, etc) into any GUIs that show up while you are playing on a server.

Beyond that, I am not sure, and wish you the best!

Also, side note, since I do not know what version Aternos is for (I assume it's a modpack?), versions below 1.14.4 are no longer supported on these forums due to age, and requesting help for old versions will result in a request for you to update to a supported version

Aternos is a free minecraft server hosting site, but behind all of this he had a troll plugin, those gui's weren't real, sorry for the post.

No problem, hopefully this dishonest server admin didn't fool you into giving away any information!

I would report them to their server host, and stop playing on that server for sure.

    • On Forge 58.0.5 (MC 1.21.8), InputEvent.MouseScrollingEvent is marked cancellable (implements Cancellable, uses a CancellableEventBus), but the event type does not expose setCanceled(boolean) or cancel() from a @SubscribeEvent listener. What’s the correct way to cancel this event (or otherwise block vanilla scroll behavior) from mod code? Can someone plz point me in the right direction? Thx
    • There are a bunch of fabric mods listed in that log. And others as well. Try removing all that and see what happens, if it still crashes, post a new log.
    • quiero un mod en el que hayan camras y que tambien halla el twilhit forest.
    • So I am trying to run a server for All the mods 9 to the sky on a cloud server running debian 12 bookworm. My fabric and vanilla servers run fine, with a little tweaking. I haven't been able to get this on to work, I suspect I am missing something obvious though. Obviously it is having issues with spark, but I can't tell if that's what's causing the crash. I have tries adding the enable spark command to jvm arguments but it hasn't removed the issue. Maybe I am putting it in the wrong place, It seems to be setting my memory correctly at the beginning of the log, but SIGSEGV is a memory issue I believe. If anyone could help me with this I'd appreciate it, not great at reading code or logs and working out the problem. picture of failure in terminal fastfetch system info Error log Full log
    • For some reason I'm getting a fabric related crash despite me being solely on forge and i cant figure what's causing this  I've disabled all recent mods and modernfix, I've downgraded mods that i recently updated nothing worked - https://pastebin.com/Y53M6AXB -
