Hi, I'm new at modding, I have java knowledge so I can defend myself.
I'll give you context.
I'm learning from scratch with the documentation, GitHub repositories and YouTube videos.
And when I'm learning how to register blocks, custom blocks, and custom blocks with custom models and I found that the transparency of a texture are now black or white (depending how much colors are in the texture)

This is an example BlockItem, everything with that is ok, even in the hand renders well

But, when I place the block this happens.

And happens with every block or custom model that has a transparent texture, even with minecraft textures, such as a door; loses the transparency and  becomes white.

So, am I missing something? Am I doing something wrong?
All the json documents seems to be right, the code seems to be right ?
So idk what's happening.
Any hit of what am i doing wrong?

You need to set the render type of the block to CUTOUT during FMLClientSetupEvent via RenderTypeLookup::setRenderLayer.

An example is here.

1. Do not follow tutorials on YouTube, especially TechnoVision (previously called Loremaster) and HarryTalks, due to their promotion of bad practice and usage of outdated code.

2. Always post your code.

3. Never copy and paste code. You won't learn anything from doing that.

1. Read the EAQ before asking for help. Remember to provide the appropriate log(s).

2. Versions below 1.11 are no longer supported due to their age. Update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
