1.12.2 Forge Server HELP

Hey everyone,
So im tryign to set up a 1.12.2 minecraft spigot server, I use MACos so I got the installer and clicked install server. This is all the files that come once I start up the server with the eula agreed, Where do I put the mods?

1.12 is no longer supported due to age.

Please update to a modern (1.14.4/1.15.2) version to receive support.

Even then, not sure how much spigot support can be received here.

So I tried this and it still isnt doing anything diff

Please show what you tried, screenshots/errors/logs. More information is needed

Please make sure you ran the forge jar not the minecraft server jar. After that then you should see the mods folder.
