[1.12.2] Forge Installation Issues

I've been trying to install the latest version of forge for 1.12.2, however it keeps not installing some of the libraries. Version 1.15.2 works, however the mods I would like to have do not come in that version. I've tried multiple things, looking through multiple threads and could not find the answer. I opened the folder containing the jar file for forge shift-right clicked it and opened the command prompt. Then I put in the 

java -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -jar [name of the installer]

command (and used the .jar extension but it still doesn't install all the libraries. Please help.

1.12 is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

It's sad how much time mods spend saying "x is no longer supported on this forum. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support".

      [1.20.1] Heavy shadow over custom block

      Found the problem. The cullfaces were reversed. You need to set the cullface to UP on the DOWN face and vice-versa to all other faces. So that heavy shadow isn't a shadow, it's actually inside the block because the up face isn't rendered. And inside the block is almost dark because there's no light in there.       Cannot download windows installer for forge

      My computer runs off a windows system but I can't seem to find anyway to download a windows forge download for any version, yet I remember seeing an option to download forge for windows a few years ago when downloading forge for an older laptop, anyone know the reason why I cannot find a way to download forge for windows?

      im trying to get a 1.92 modded server with curseforge, but the server keeps crashing and saying exit code 1, and when i opened the crash report, all it said was missing mods.toml file. and that in my serverpacks it uses schema???       Looking for a mod: Structure spawn rates

      when I do this it seems all fine for a moment, but one thing changes. the server.jar file loses about 200kb despite the new structure_set folder being very similar in size to the original. Then, when I run the server (not the client just the server), the jar file resets to the original file with the original structure spawn rates. I don't know how to stop this.
