Hey Forums,

 

I have been trying to download Forge 1.8.9 for quite some time now and I can't help to wonder why every time I try to download it stops .

 

It says "Progress..." & "Downloading libraries Unpacking packed file akka-actor_2.11-2.3.3.jar.pack.xz"

I have a Macbook Pro 13' and everything seems to run perfectly but this installation .

During this same day, I even downloaded Optifine and it didn't give me any problems so I don't understand what the issue is.

 

It would be amazing if I could receive any type of help.

1.8 is no longer supported on this forum.

Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
