This... a million times this :( help!

Meta INF folder has been deleted.

Tried installing modloader both manually and with mcpatcher. I previously had the same error and uninstalling and reinstalling with mcpatcher fixed it, didn't work this time.

I'm rather noobish with this sort of thing, but meta inf was deleted (always). I'm posting it here as it appeared to be an interaction of forge and modloader (which seems doubly likely since i was installing it for minecolony both times i had this crash).

Anything I'm missing would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

Subtract ModLoader. Forge now has ModLoader built into it. Just install Forge and delete META-INF. Also, never use MCPatcher when trying to install Forge or mods after Forge. It'll mess everything right up.

So, now, instead of crashing, I get in start playing, but between 1 and 5 mins in it randomly saves chunks and blackscreens. I've posted this elsewhere and got the response I should post this in forge forum, so here I am again. This is the error I'm getting:

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Millenaire and forge I used the automatic installer provided through millenaire. As far as minecolony minus the modloader, yes I followed the instructions. Meta INF is (as always) deleted. I deleted all my addons and redownloaded millenaire and forge (as well as single player commands, but that doesn't seem to be causing the problem) and though it took longer, I appeared to have the same problem. This time it came after about 20 mins or so of play. I'm thinking this is either an issue with forge or millenaire, as I had mostly the same issue without minecolony installed. Still clueless as to a cause tho.

Hm. I'll attempt to install them and see how far I get. However, I'm not going to use the installer Millenaire provides. I'll do it manually and pst results. Are there any particular actions that you perform that cause the crash, or does it just seem to crash in any situation?

Also, while I try this, try deleting your millenaire configuration files and try again. The reason I suggest this is that this line is posted for the latest millenaire download:

- Changes to the block and item ids for more compatibility. To keep playing an old world, switch back to the old values in config.txt

EDIT:

Been an hour+ and no crash. Try installing Forge and Millenaire manually, which is what I did.

Alright, I'll give it a try. Approx 20 mins was the longest I went (until just a bit ago when I logged on and went for about 2 hours before choosing to log off on my own) so I'm not sure what was going on there. But I'll manually install and see where that gets me. Thanks for the help :)
