[1.15] Custom recipe type setting recipe output to air after being crafted

So I have a recipe type that is supposed to not consume certain inputs. For some reason, whenever I craft a custom recipe of that type, it sets the output of the recipe to air after the output item is placed in the player's inventory. I've tried poking around with eclipse's debugger, but to no avail. If anyone knows why this is happening, help would be greatly appreciated.

You need to clone the result stack before putting it into an inventory. 

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
