Curse/Overwolf: If you are using the Curse Launcher, their configurations break Forge's log settings, fortunately there is an easier workaround than I originally thought, this works even with Curse's installation of the Minecraft launcher as long as it is not launched THROUGH Twitch:

i think it because of post fowarding because when i start server i go on website "https://www.yougetsignal.com/tools/open-ports/" to see if it can see my port and it say no

idk what a static ip is, i dont think i have it, but my exeternal ipv4 used to change, i jsut give my friends new ones and they can connect again

it jsut suddenly stopped working for no reason after i switched to forge, vanilla stopped working aswell, i tried the vanilla 1.16.2, the forge 1.12.2 and the forge 1.16.2 and they all stopped working

nono i havent that was why my forge was crashing last time, i amde a seperate post on that and a guy helped my fix it

I'm afraid there's only so much I can do when I can't look into your network setup myself.

As long as your ports are forwarded, your firewall is allowing packets incoming and outgoing on 25565 (and you haven't set the server to use a different port) you should be good.

  Necro'ing that thread to ask if you found a solution ? I'm encountering the same crash on loading the world. I created the world in Creative to test my MP, went into survival to test combat, died, crashed on respawn and since then crash on loading the world. Deactivating Oculus isn't fixing it either, and I don't have Optifine (Twilight forest is incompatible)

  Cactus Flowers in vanilla can be placed on #minecraft:dirt, minecraft:farmland, or anything that is face sturdy upwards. Forge has added a line of code that works for other classes that extend VegetationBlock, but because CactusFlowerBlock has special placement, it has broken it.
