Posted June 20, 201312 yr Hey all, me again, I tried this myself but couldn't figure it out, I was wondering if someone could help me figure out a way so that if a player steps on a said block, that they get a jump boost for as long as they are on it, and once they get off, they loose it. Any help is appreciated.
June 20, 201312 yr Make a block have a slightly shorter collision box (look at Soul Sand) and then use an onCollide effect (check Soul Sand again) and use entity.addPotionEffect(Potion.jumpboost). You'll have to tweak that a bit, but it should point you in the right direction. Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
