[WIP][1.5.2] SkyInfinity - Fly to space! UPDATED

Introduction

 

This mod adds new worlds, new items, new weapons, new blocks, new features  and new possibilites to minecraft.

It allows you to weat a fancy space suit, fly up to moon in your personal spaceship and mine hundreds of iron in matter of minutes, or craft a Gauss rifle and go kill some creepers from extra-long-safe-distance (or zombies,skeletons,spiders,pigs,allothermobsinminecraft).

 

Features

 

Be sure that this is only first WIP so it adds basically only few features:

- Craft a Space suit that is needed for survival on moon

- Build your own personal space ship and travel to moon

- Craft a UA-19 Gauss carabine that hits anything dircetly in your sight

- SMP compatibile!

Installation:

Install Minecraft forge

Paste contents of .rar file to minecraft.jar (or minecraft_server.jar if you have a server)

Run minecraft

Crafting:

Reinforced Cloth: basic part of space suit

 

Space suit helmet

 

 

Portable Life Support System and Space suit chest

Space Ship Hull Block: basic block of all spaceships

 

Computer and diamond alternative recipe: core of the spaceship

 

Space ship engine: currently doesnt do anything, only needed in spaceship strcture like hull block

 

Gauss rifle: multifunctional long range precision weapon, deals 5 damage (2,5 hearts)

 

And Gauss rifle bolt. You dont need to craft 2 stacks of these, they drop themselves as items again when they hit entity or block

 

And air bottle, currently does nothing, only crafting ingredient

 

Caked Regolith can be obtained by smelting moon regolith. Its easy-to-obtain building material.

Guide:

1. Craft a space suit

2. Build a space ship (if you dont know how there is a ship spawner that generates one on clicked block so create a creative world and try it out)

3. Put on your space suit

4. Right click on computer , then right click again to cofirm liftoff

5. Enjoy your trip to moon

 

Notes:

NEVER take off your space suit or you will die as result of fatal decompression, -250°C and total lack of oxygen

 

There is a debug item in game but DO NOT use it or it may be bugged or something and worst of all may corrupt your saves

 

If you lost your space suit and you are stuck on moon, you can use /jumpearth command that teleports you back to earth but adds many negative effets like nausea, slower minng and hunger.

 

Staying in closed room on moon acts as wearing a space suit, so if you bild a base o moon you can take off your suit after entering it, but dont forget to take it back on when exiting! http://static.minecraftforum.net//public/style_emoticons/default/smile.png[/img]

This looks really cool!  I hope you can keep up the good work and become good competition for Glacticraft, as their space stations are not a good option for PvP servers.
