1.16.4 OreGeneration not working

Hi I've got a bit of a problem with 1.16.4 ore gen..

I've tried finding answers myself without asking here because I have done ore gen before but that was for 1.12.2 and now I can't find a way to make my first (only so far) ore generate I've scoured the docs and the forums and nothing works at all but when I do this current code it loads my game and literally no ore is generated despite the high frequency (I put it high so it was easy to find for testing) here's my code for my OreGen file:  https://pastebin.com/U1sdzhZB

I have also asked in the official discord but got no reply as of yet

If anyone can help thank u so much.

    Edit: and I suppose you're calling registerOre() in a common setup event listener
