So, I downloaded the installer, but instead of the java installer like everyone else, I get the files in file explorer. What do I do to install it? What did I do wrong? Did I have a wrong version of Java?

    Some zip managers like to take control of the .jar file extension away from Java.
    Make sure you have Java installed and try running Jarfix once, then try the installer again.

    I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
