Hello, so I have started making a mod recently, however I couldn't find any tutorials on how to make a custom "Furnace like" GUI. I found one for the 1.8 but I'm not sure if it woks in 1.16. When I tried to improvise i got nothing other then errors, so I don't really know how to make a GUI. That's why I need help. Does anyone know how to make a GUI like in a furnace or do you have any recent tutorials? Thank you in advance!

GUIs haven't changed much in quite some time.

The only major differences you probably need to be aware of (aside from methods and classes getting new names, eg. GuiScreen -> Screen) is that Slots to handle items still point at vanilla style IInventory rather than Forge's ItemStackHandler capability.

But Forge has also supplied a SlotItemHandler (ItemHandlerSlot? I'm looking at my older 1.14 code and that name might've changed too) which accepts an ItemStackHandler and does all the things it needs to to give the proper behavior.

Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable.  If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME.  Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.

Exception: If you do not understand Java, I WILL NOT HELP YOU and your thread will get locked.

DO NOT PM ME WITH PROBLEMS. No help will be given.
