I installed forge with the installer on 1.6.1, and Minecraft runs perfectly fine with just forge, but whenever i add any mod to the .jar it gives me a "SHA1 Digest error in blah.class"

Dont add any mod to the jar, jar mods should be dead.

If you're editing a 1.6.1 jar you're doing it WRONG

If a mod tells you to put it int her jar yell at them to stop being stupid.

 

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.
