Posted February 13, 20214 yr Hey! I've been having troubles installing the latest forge versions and I believe it's because the adfocus address doesn't work for me. When I attempt to install using the adfocus address (like the forge download tutorials tell me to do), my browser says the IP Address could not be found. I've tried the direct installer, but when I open the jar file it just downloads another jar file that is the exact same. Is there any way to solve this?
February 13, 20214 yr Some zip managers like to take control of the .jar file extension away from Java. Make sure you have Java installed and try running Jarfix once, then try the installer again. I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated. Consider supporting the team on Patreon
