Can't run the installer.

Hello,

 

I've downloaded the new installer for Forge 1.6.1 but when I try to run it, it doesn't open. The only thing that happens is cmd prompt opens for less than a second. I've made sure to open it with Java, just to see if that was the case and I was just being an idiot, but no. I'm using Windows 8.

I'm using Windows 8(.1 preview but meh ) and it works fine for me.

Try running it from cmdline?

Very sorry to ask, but how would I go about doing that?

You'll want to cd to the folder where you kept the installer and run it from there. I'll make bat scripts when I can.
