I have installed Forge properly into 1.6.1 using the latest .775 installer and the 2 Forge mods I have as well perfectly in SSP. As soon as I try to connect to the server I use, I get this message

Disconnected by server

ReadTimeoutException: null

When i change back to the vanilla (Default) profile in the launcher, I can connect to the same server with no problems.

I have confirmed with the Admins and Mods of the server that Forge isnt blacklisted.

I came here seeking for a solution and saw on a thread with similar problems, advice was to log out and in and it should work. Unfortunately for me, I have tried this numerous times and closed and opened the launcher with no luck. Do i have to Re-Install everything (including MC) from scratch?

Thanks in advance

Phil

Typically read timeouts are caused by the server side running bungeecord that had a small issue recently. If they update things should be fine.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

So when bungeecord updates things it should be fine? Server staff said it's a bit hard to update to a version that doesnt exist lol.

Do you know if there is a particular version for 1.6.1 that doesnt have this issue?
