Hello Guys!

Please can anybody give me a clue, how to access TileEntity data in the Block.getIcon() method?

Or is there a common way / other method in Block, which solves my problem.

BTW I am trying to store the facing of my block and some other Block Icon related information's in tile entities.

Metadata is used for some other stuff ;-)

Thanks,

ruabmbua

Thanks, but I can not find getBlockTexture().

I am using new Forge 1.7.2-10.12.0.1024.

Can it be, that the getBlockTexture method is not existing any more,

or is it some of the obfuscated func_XXXX() methods?

try {

...

}catch(Throwable t) {

Oh god I am so silly  :-[.

I trusted eclipse to much. It had not shown me an overloaded public Block.getIcon() method. I found it in the forge javadoc with my browser. It seems strange to me, that the eclipse javadoc view did not show it to me. Eventually eclipse reads it from a wrong location?

I will rebuild my workspace.

But thanks any way!
