  1. You need Java installed to run the forge installer. I believe Java 8-10 will work for the supported versions of Forge. https://adoptopenjdk.net/
  2. I just solved the issue, check the edit in the comment above. Thanks for asking tho. I did indeed re-ran the setup (build.gradle and genIntellijRuns) several times, it was just that i wasn't looking in the right places. Also thanks for the link, it'll come handy later. I already know the basics about Java, OOP and the syntax (i think that's how it's called in English?), it's just that i don't have much experience and i'm also new to Intellij (was using NetBeans previously), but the other in-depth forge information will be really useful!.
  3. What IDE are you using and did you re-run the setup (including refreshing your gradle project & re generating your run configs) every time you changed forge version? Here's a list of modding pre-requisites that also contains some good tutorials that I recommend.
  4. Make a class in your test source set that deletes them before they are loaded?
  5. 1.12.2 is no longer supported on these forums due to age. Please update to a modern version to receive support. See the LTS link at the top of every forum page for more information on supported versions.
  6. Or render the fluid state you already have with BlockRendererDispatcher#renderFluid (func_228794_a_)
