Helpers like that are basically useless, just use the regular Block constructor in-line. Also, is ItemHelper one of your classes? I can't seem to find it in Forge or Minecraft

Where are you getting zip files from? I would assume you are downloading CurseForge modpacks manually and dropping their zips into your mods folder, which is not how they work. If my assumption above is correct you should know that CurseForge modpacks do not contain the mods themselves, they instead have a manifest pointing to where the mods are on CurseForge's network, this manifest is intended to be read by the Twitch client which will then download the mods according to the manifest.

Do you set the registry name in your block's constructor? Is there a reason your block's constructor doesn't match Block's constructor?

You could move the downloaded file into the libraries folder, but it shouldn't be necessary. Have you tried reinstalling Java?

There's only one installer, and that's the only one you should be downloading and running. What happens if you run the jar manually from a console window?
