  1. Oh, you haven't gotten a pack from Twitch/Curse before have you? That file is not a mod itself, and it might not even have the mods in it. If you want to make a server you'll likely have to go the long way around of importing the pack into the Twitch Client (which reads a manifest in that zip and downloads the mods according to that manifest), then copy those mods, configs, and whatever else into your server.
  2. DynamicTrees is attempting to divide by zero while calculating a color apparently...
  3. Please read the Logs section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  4. Please read the Logs section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  5. Download the Forge installer from the files page: https://files.minecraftforge.net (Note: If you are using a pre-made modpack it is recommended that you look at the pack itself to see what version of Forge it is designed to work with) Run the installer and select your designed installation (server or client) Unzip the pack (Note: Some packs have specific server zips that omit any client-only mods) Copy the folders from the modpack to your server Run the Forge jar to start the server
  6. Try deleting the ToughAsNails config file
  7. Why is your Forge installer in your mods folder? Please provide debug.log
  8. 1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  9. Note: this might leave a loose end in your launcher profile list. Also depending on your reason for uninstalling Forge you might not need to uninstall Forge at all.
  10. This is caused by the new launcher not liking how Forge's old installer did things, there's nothing we can do about it without forcing a rebuild of every Forge version. The new installer(1.13+) works fine and the simplest solution is to just ignore the bugged Installation and make your own.
  11. 1.8 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  12. https://adoptopenjdk.net is the site I use
  13. The latest openjdk for 8, 9, or 10 should work, openjdk is just a different implementation of Java
  14. I'm not sure if this will have any effect, but it will be a roadblock later anyway, you need to use Java 8, 9, or 10 to run Forge, you have Java 11 installed.
  15. PATH in the context that I'm talking about is a system variable. I don't know how this is handled on Mac, you'll have to do a bit of Googling
  16. For some reason the Java version on your PATH is different from the one associated with the jar file extension. The version on your PATH is Java 9 or later which is incompatible with Forge for 1.12.2 and earlier.
  17. There's SUPPOSED to always be a debug.log but Twitch throws Forge's log configs in the trash. Please see my signature below for by passing Twitch and getting the debug.log
  18. You must use Java 8, 9, or 10
  19. How many times have you retried?
  20. How did you install Forge? The launcher should not even be attempting to get the Forge jar
  21. 1.7.10 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  22. Please provide your installer log, it will have the same name as the installer but with .log on the end: Installer: forge-{version}-installer.jar Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar.log Note: If you have Windows Explorer set to hide file extensions(as is the default setting), they will look like this: Installer: forge-{version}-installer Log: forge-{version}-installer.jar
  23. Please post a new installer log
  24. You were supposed to use gist.github.com which is a separate service but this works. You're running the cake installation and not the furnace installation, right?
