  1. I was only able to replicate this by pressing "Play" when I already had the game open. Are you sure you don't have the game open in the background or anything?
  2. Try deleting fml.toml from the config folder, and don't run Minecraft as admin, there's no need for it.
  3. Rift and Forge are incompatible and will not load each other's mods. As for getting Forge to work I'm not sure what you're launching, could you provide a screenshot of your launcher?
  4. delete fml.toml from the config folder
  5. Have you checked the bottom of the versions list? Apparently 1.12.2 and older get shoved down there for whatever reason.
  6. What are you talking about adding versions? Just to clarify, you can have any number of Forge versions installed but you can only run a single version at a time.
  7. What launcher are you using? Please provide a screenshot.
  8. Are you starting your server with the bat or are you typing in CMD manually?
  9. 1.7.2 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support.
  10. If you're on Windows use Snipping Tool or Snip & Sketch
  11. Try using Twitch's automatic repair on the instance.
  12. You don't add a cd command to the batch file. Main thing is in the context of the bat file it should already be in the right place, but starting cmd manually it won't start in the right place.
  13. Why would you need to manually install Forge?
  14. User was banned for using a cracked launcher. Buy the game.
  15. Use the new launcher, that's what Forge is designed to work with.
  16. CMD doesn't search your entire computer when you type things. It checks the folder it's running in, AKA the working directory (which can be changed using the cd or Change Directory command), and the PATH system variable (This is an advanced feature you shouldn't manually mess with unless you know what you're doing). When you run a bat file it's really just a file that starts CMD, automatically changes the working directory to wherever the bat file is located, then runs the commands in the bat file one after the other. Because you opened CMD and attempted to run Forge without telling CMD to change it's working directory it's looking for Forge in system32, which is not where it is and where it should never be.
  17. As long as your Start.bat is in the same folder as the Forge jar you won't need to
  18. What launcher are you using? Please provide a screenshot.
  19. What launcher are you using? Please provide a screenshot.
  20. Why are you putting the installer in your versions folder? Unnamed Installation is a bugged installation, ignore it and make your own. 1.14.4 is showing back up because that's vanilla and it's being auto-downloaded by the "Latest Version" installation.
  21. Did you turn off your computer while the game was running?
  22. Where did you put the mods?
