  1. Just spotted... 1.8.9 is no longer supported on this forum due to its age. Please update to a modern version of Minecraft to receive support. Edit: Delete your 1.8.9 profile.
  2. Several events were moved to a new package, you can still use .41 until JEI updates
  3. That's an illegal repost site. Please check out StopModReposts (link in my signature below). The ONLY download site for Forge is https://files.minecraftforge.net
  4. Instead of providing a full log you instead provided the crash report... I can't tell from what you have provided
  5. What version are you making a mod for? What IDE are you using? How did you set up your workspace? Are you following a tutorial, and if so, which?
  6. Forge should not detect or try to load Sponge Plugins, and Sponge should not detect or try to load Forge mods. In the case of client-only and server-only mods, mods should be smart enough to self-disable on the wrong side.
  7. It can be fixed by the Optifine devs making Optifine compatible with Forge.
  8. The filenames of one or more of your mods suggests you got them from a repost site. Please read up on the StopModReposts project (link in my signature) for info on why this is a bad thing.
  9. Where are you downloading Forge from? Please give a url.
  10. Oh god... it looks like DivineRPG's steel doors are playing pong/newton's cradle with block updates.
  11. Please read the Logs section of my signature below and provide the appropriate log in the appropriate manner.
  12. Ignore the Unnamed Configuration. Forge installs itself as a version of Minecraft. Make a new Profile/Installation and select Forge from the version dropdown. (Note: For some reason Forge 1.12.2 gets booted to the bottom of the list.)
  13. It looks like you have the jar file extension registered as a name but not associated with a program.
  14. Are you going to take my advice or just keep repeating that line?
  15. I'm not 100% sure, but I know Openj9 has caused problems in the past.
  16. You're not installing a launcher, you're installing Forge on the client side, so which option do you think you should select?
  17. You need to use HotSpot Java, Openj9 is incompatible with Forge
  18. What are you installing?
  19. The filenames of almost all of of your mods suggests you got them from a repost site. Please read up on the StopModReposts project (link in my signature) for info on why this is a bad thing. Also, why do you not have Java installed?
  20. Do you not know what to do from there?
  21. You mean the server GUI opened? Well you didn't specify nogui so it opened the GUI.
  22. I hate these tutorials. Regardless, I don't see him telling you to add -d64 or -o true
  23. Try this: https://johann.loefflmann.net/en/software/jarfix/index.html
  24. Where are you getting those options from?
