When you say in installs 1.12.2, did you already have Forge for 1.12.2 installed? Keep in mind that only the first installation of Forge creates a launcher profile, after that Forge just installs itself as a Minecraft version that a launcher profile can use.

As much as we want to take every fake site down, Forge is not supported by a massive corporation with the funding and connections that such an endeavor would require. Sadly the best we can do is try to educate everyone about the dangers of these fake sites, and on that note I highly recommend you check out the StopModReposts project, Forge is not affiliated with them but so far they are doing a good job of creating a list of sites that rehost mods without permission and they have a browser extension that will alert you when you visit a site on that list.

Where did you download the installer from?

This is indicative of attempting to run Pre-1.13 Forge with Java 9 or later, just because you have a Java version does not mean that's the version your computer is trying to use.

You should not have changed any files manually, that's what I was checking. How did you install Forge?
