Go into the options.txt for your minecraft instance and where it says resourcePacks: make sure the square brackets are empty.
If it still crashes after that then post a new log.

If you changed things please push the changes to your repo.
Please provide your fml-client-latest.log as described in my signature, and I would not suggest offering payment for an issue like this, it's not needed.
I've never encountered that error before, try running the cleanCache task, you will need to re-run setupdecompworkspace afterwards, but it shouldn't hurt anything you've done.
The source is in the forgeSrc package you can browse using your IDE, under external libraries.

If you already have a Java 8 version installed and run into this issue then you had a later version installed at the same time.
If this is the case you need to specify the full path to the Java 8 java.exe instead of just invoking "java".
