Sorry I dont understand, Im probably stupid, new to this, and a "tekkit user". Eg if server is running 3.1.3, you use the 3.1.3 client to connect.

Modloader mods don't work on SMP without modification. And you have a few client only mods like Timber.

Tekkit, Tekkit, Tekkit, Tekkit, Tekkit. This is why we dislike Tekkit users. Use the EXACT version of the client pack for connecting to the server!

If you have NEI for 1.2.5 and below, you install it into the minecraft.jar. If you have NEI for 1.3.2 and above, install into coremods folder.

Okay, if you want to make a FTB pack server: 1. Switch your FTB launcher to server mode. (Filter->Side->Server) 2. Download whatever pack you want. 3. Extract it and run any of the bat files, depending on your amount of RAM.
