  1. Use SoundEvent.SoundSourceEvent in your event handler. It gives you the source and sound of every sound that is played to the client.
  2. I don't know if it is a typo from porting your code here or what, but you are missing a quotation mark after ore_aluminum in the model json.
  3. Your sounds.json looks good, as well as your registration of the SoundEvents. Can you also show your initialization/registration of the music discs, as well as the file path of the sounds.json?
  4. I have a custom dimension that works AFAIK, in that the dimension is registered, and I can visit via the portal block I made. However, the way I added it was by messing around with things until it worked. I would like to know if I did the process correctly, and if not, the flaws included in my current method. Below are my classes/methods that involve the dimension. Edit: Also, I am having an issue with my current way of adding a dimension, which is that instead of saving dimension data in a folder like DIM1 or DIM-1, it saves it in a folder called realm_of_the_ancients, which is nested in another folder called my mod ID.
  5. I'm having trouble implementing my custom music discs into the game. Everything with the actual item (texture, model, plays music in jukebox, etc.) works properly however, when the music is playing, no matter where you are in the world, you can hear it. I would like to make it so that my music discs have limited distance like the vanilla discs. This code worked for 1.13.2 in terms of volume decreasing, but does not work in 1.14.3 or 1.14.4. Thanks for any help.
