  1. This is a simple question: what is the object name for charcoal. I was trying to make a crafting recipe using coal or charcoal, but I can't figure out what charcoal's thing is. I've tried these three: Item.itemRegistry.getObject("coal"); Item.itemRegistry.getObject("charcoal"); Item.itemRegistry.getObject("coal, 1"); Please help.
  2. Yep. I have been searching all over the Internet for hours, with no success on finding a 1.7.2 tutorial on how to make your items have a 3D model using Techne. I've already made the model for it (which is here:http://techne.zeux.me/76fd6249). All I could find were either 1.6 (or earlier) tutorials or ones for mobs. So, if anyone could offer any sites or anything then that would be great, or tell me if it's even possible in 1.7. Thanks in advance.
  3. I have never tried to code with anything (except HTML, which is very basic) before, so no, I have not used Java before. Also: - I have 64-bit OS - I am very sure I am using the Forge SRC (9.11.1.965) - I am not using Gradle (if you mean the program) - This is for Minecraft 1.6.4 Like I said, I am terrible with coding and mods, mostly because I've started today.
  4. Firstly, I would like to say I just got Eclipse set up today, so I really know little about modding. I was watching a modding tutorial on YouTube (by SynaSonic), and when I started up my eclipse, the tutorial's Package Explorer had started with a Minecraft folder that he started his class on. But, when I opened my folder, there was no folders whatsoever in the Package Explorer. I re-watched that section about 5 times, and I believe I was doing it exactly the sane as he did. My current workspace is: C:\Users\kai\Desktop\ISW\forge\mcp\eclipse Thank you in advance to anyone assisting my problems. P.S. - Please tell me if this is in the wrong section (which I expect it is); this is only my third (or so) post.
  5. So whenever I put the LOTR mod in my mods folder, it doesn't respond and gives the following error (you might want to just skip to the end): http://pastebin.com/admXW3aK BTW, the end of the config is when it begins "sorting [the] mods". Also, even if I do uninstall Tinkers' Construct, the same error will occur but without the TConstruct part. Thanks to any contributors.
  6. My ThaumCraft Minecraft errors every time I launch Minecraft. It has to do with "noSuchError" on Object tags or something. If anyone could help me with this, that would be very great and appreciated. If anyone needs the crash log, here is a pastebin: http://pastebin.com/2NMz5HeA Thank you (whomever you may be) for helping (if you do) me with my problem with ThaumCraft.
  7. So I've been trying to make a Lord of the Rings Mod Server for a while (for Forge 9.11.1.953) but whenever I go to the Lord of the Rings dimension, no chunks load. I've tried using one of my singleplayer worlds (which the chunks did generate in) but they still did not work. Nothing seems to be wrong in the Batch run thing and when I'm actually in the dimension, there's not lag and my coordinates say I'm standing on a block. Here's a pastebin of the Forge log: http://pastebin.com/bANMaTna Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you and thank you for any help or assistance you may provide or offer.
  8. I tried allocating as much memory as possible ( before it says "Could not create the Java Virtual Machine") and it still doesn't work.
  9. Here's a pastebin: http://pastebin.com/bBTcCx2w Sorry, for the wait, I was very busy with work.
  10. So I've been trying to download different versions of the IC2 experimental builds off of Jenkins, and I've tried the versions from the release from when Forge 9.11.1.953 (the current Forge build I'm using) and all I got was Minecraft Not Responding. I have had Minecraft not respond when launching new mods before but this time it was taking over 10 minutes without anything happening. I also tried getting the newest version of Forge (9.11.1.964) but I can't figure out how to install it. Any help on one or both of these subject will greatly be appreciated.
