  1. Great Thanks, got it to work for the player, but do I have to do something different for the armor stand? I did it like this: for(PlayerRenderer renderer : Minecraft.getInstance().getRenderManager().getSkinMap().values()) { renderer.addLayer(new WingsLayer(renderer)); }
  2. I think the better place for this question would be to contact the mod developers directly. On their CurseForge page there are links to their discord and other socials.
  3. Hello! Wanted to know, how do you tell the game to render you custom wearable? I have an item which is basically another form of elytra with other properties (the item itself works just fine), so I was looking at how the game renders the elytra. I made a new layer class which uses the standard elytra model, but a different texture. And there is where I got stuck, I see the ElytraLayer gets added in the PlayerRenderer. But how do I add my layer to it, or do I have to write a new renderer? Thanks in advance and I hope someone can help me with my problem.
  4. THANK YOU! This fixed all my problems (after some tries)! EDIT: Found an easier fix for my problem. Deleting the whole .gradle folder fixed all other problems I had after the fix from DaemonUmbra. e.g.: I had to delete these files every time I build the project. But note, if you delete this folder you have to reimport all other gradle projects you had installed.
  5. I deleted the variable, but it seems to make no difference This comes up: C:\Users\Matthias\Desktop\Minecraft Modding\Mods\ModPack>java -version java version "1.8.0_261" Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.8.0_261-b12) Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 25.261-b12, mixed mode) C:\Users\Matthias\Desktop\Minecraft Modding\Mods\ModPack>javac -version javac 1.8.0_261
  6. This must have been from something else, I can't remember, I will try that tomorrow! My jdk version is 8u261.
  7. Hey guys! I have a problem with setting up my workspace. The "genEclipseRuns" task doesn't seem to generate the Minecraft / Forge libraries. I know, this has been posted a lot here, but all the other solutions never worked for me. I'm using : - Java JDK : jdk1.8.0_261 - Forge 1.15.2: forge-1.15.2-31.2.0-mdk I have declared the JAVA_HOME variable to the right Java JDK path and even tried to add it manually to the gradle.properties file like: org.gradle.java.home=C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.8.0_261 CMD Log: C:\Users\Matthias\Desktop\Min
  8. Yes, even added the path to the gradle.properties file...
  9. I have the exact same problem, but declaring JAVA_HOME doesn't help.
