  1. Remove All Mods Completely uninstall your antivirus See if that works, if it doesn't I refer you to what I said in the last post.
  2. 1) There is always a log 2) This has been looked into extensively. Its hanging OUTSIDE of the Minecraft process. Something after the entire JVM has shut down is holding the process open. Haven't been able to track it down as nobody has been able to reproduce. Best guess you have a AV thats being derpy.
  3. So you're saying that you see the log where things conflict. Which is what you're asking to be added. Also this doesn't help the situation at all. As its the mods registering things incorrectly.
  4. Why? If modders do it right they should be the same thing in-game so it shouldn't be necessary to modify them yourself. What are you trying to accomplish?
  5. http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php/topic,34774.msg183366.html#msg183366
  6. http://status.ovh.co.uk/?do=details&id=11304&PHPSESSID=9b5b7129f010a8f1724728fd5b9e85cf Some very intelligent person cut a fiber cable. It's being addressed and is already backup, just slow as its going through non-optimized links. So depending on your geographical location you should be fine, or slow. HOWEVER the non-supported protocol is not something to do with our server thats something on your computer that is screwing with your initial connection. We DID have a couple mirrors but they had to much downtime to be reliable. So here we are. If you MUST install freshly you can manually get the libraries from http://search.maven.org/
  7. Its not down, it's just being slow {could be me as im on shitty internet, or the site} I have Overmind looking into it.
  8. This topic has been moved to Modder Support. [iurl]http://www.minecraftforge.net/forum/index.php?topic=34770.0[/iurl]
  9. I would of been political and held your hand nicely but thats now how the world works. This way you actually do a little bit of thinking for yourself and get the last little bit of the solution yourself. AND you see how the solution was derived from the log files. Theoretically you'll keep this knowledge and use it next time you have issues to try and solve it yourself. Learning > Coddling.
  10. No, there are better ways to achieve the desired effect without screwing with gl shit. And the benefit of using a standardized atlas performance wise far outweighs your issues with it.
  11. Its no longer needed apparently. Just make a workspace somewhere and import the projects.
  12. Adding music and sounds is done via json lists. No hacking needed.
  13. You installed a 1.8 coremod, Don't do that.
  14. I would be interested in seeing which thing on your computer prevents the writing to that folder. However, the 'Forge' profile is just a simple profile with the forge version already selected. Nothing fancy. If it ever doesn't popup for you just create a new profile manually and select the version you want.
  15. If you're having the same exact error then follow the same exact answer I gave that guy. If not then don't hijack other's threads.
  16. A 'Profile' is not a 'Folder' There is a reason I used the exact words 'Game Directory' go look at the profile config screen and you'll see what i'm talking about -.-
  17. Yup, you dont need ASM for this, you can just replace the layer for rendering armor. Always, ALWAYS use ASM as a last resort, you have adequate non-asm-hacky options to solve this. Also, Is this an actual bug or is it a intended feature of vanilla minecraft?
  18. You're running a 1.8 coremod on 1.7.10 this will not work. If you MUST have the same game directory for both a 1.7.10 modded run and a 1.8 modded run, ONLY put mods in /mods/{MC_VERSION} The PROPER way to do it is to go into the launcher profile, and change the 'Game Directory' for the different versions so you have them isolated from each other. {Described in the EAQ for the official launcher} And no there are not 'restrictions' on asking for help beyond 'Spend 30 seconds and try and solve it yourself' We have EAQs, tutorials, and the search feature to prevent us from having to state the same thing over and over and over again.
  19. TerafirmaCraft has a recursion issue, speak to bioxx
  20. You have an error, would be nice if you had the full stack trace. Anyways, from what I see your 'ssr.config.MobBlackList' config is borked.
  21. Please explain better. You want to make the armor you're wearing red? There is no need for this you can just add/edit layers.
  22. Why are you transforming the class? Especially if you have no idea what you're doing...
  23. 1523/1524 have a new rendering system for lighting. {It should be both faster then vanilla, AND have better lighting for mod models} It won't be compatible with Optifine until optifine update. {To Optifine guy, I'm planning a RB wednesday if things work out} Its been tested but there may be some edge cases where it has issues. If you can provide logs and more details that will be great.
  24. 1) https://github.com/MinecraftForge/FernFlower 2) No, as always he has to work around us as he is not a forge mod and the way he does things breaks Forge. 3) No, as always he has to work around us as he is not a forge mod and the way he does things breaks Forge.
