  1. This issue should of been fixed, like 50 builds ago. Make absolutely sure that you have the latest version installed.
  2. And update Optifine, this is typically a old version of optifine.
  3. If you notice, his client proxy extends CommonProxy.
  4. It would help if you told us what mod it was, so we can actually read the log with some form of meaning. But im going to assume it was a mod made with MLMP, Tell him to not use MLMP but then again this is just a guess from no information given.
  5. There are many tutorials out there for this. As for the id, its w/e the hell you set, I recomend something logical like 1 for your first gui, 2 for the 2nd and so forth...
  6. Dont bump, also logs or gtfo.
  7. What... What...
  8. Yup, if a modder isn't stupid and does his mod correctly. Then the same exact code will work on the client and server, which means that he can bundle both in one. Case an point Forge, we edit a bunch of base classes, yet we're still able to make a universal distro. There is no valid reason a modder shouldn't be able to. And if he doesn't hes just making more work for himself
  9. One of your classes somewhere references the GUIs somehow. it would see to be something to do with your TaggerRails class. Cant really tell you what as its your code. But look over it for anything that references GUIs.
  10. You can create your own IRecipe, and do whatever you want with it. See ShapedRecipe/ShapelessRecipe
  11. Some mod you have in your mods folder is corrupt, this is not a forge issue.
  12. Forge works perfectly fine with external launchers, what do you mean? Some launcher do stupid stuff like use the applet without implementing a callback, but that's the launcher issue, and is really easy for them to rectify.
  13. For the most part, I have not been able to reproduce any significant resource increases when using forge vs vanilla MC. Some people report it does, but its far more likely that the mods are the ones eating up things then forge itself. Still would be willing to look at proficing data if anyone has any.
  14. There was never a official release for 1.3.1, there are a few early builds of 4.x that are 1.3.1 1.3.2 came out with almost no delay after 1.3.1 so if anyone devs a mod for 1.3.1, and not 1.3.2 they are.. well.. stupid. However, we do not support it because its old.
  15. Ugocraft is a MLMP based mods, we do not support MLMP as they are bad, never update properly, closed source, fail at copy/paste, etc... Tell the Ugocraft makers to switch to forge.
  16. Backdate a few versions if you really really hate it However, this DOES NOT stop you from using the external IP, you just need to forward your ports properly. cpw made it pick the first non-localhost port so that it would try to pick your external IP. Meaning the 99% who don't use hamachi would actually be able to work if they forwarded there ports properly. We are re-designing how this is done to fix MC's stupidity of only listening on your local connection. However, that wont come for a few days. So in the mean time you can back data a version or two, or you can set your hamachi to higher priority then your lan connection {in your network settings google it} Or, you can forward your ports properly and have people connect just fine. Also posting privs revoked for 24 hours due to bumping and failure to search.
  17. DONT TRIPPLE POST! Really dude, really? java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 5 at net.minecraft.src.RenderPlayer.setArmorModel(RenderPlayer.java:44) There seems to be a AIOOB exception on that line. I wqould ssume it has something to do with your Armor, probably its material, but cant be sure without looking at the code. Why not go take a look, see where its getthing this '5' from, and seeing to that. Now that I think about it, it is probably your armor texture not being setup properly. Ya sounds good.
  18. They were removed because modders didnt use them responsibly and they were responsible for an average of about 70% of the tick time on server I looked at. We are looking into how things need to be redesigned to force modders to be more efficient.
  19. I see nothing showing you registering your entities for tracking. And make sure you're on the latest forge before reporting anything. And make sure you've follow the proper tutorials for things. I see nothing here that shows me: Registering your Entity tracker info Setting your textures
  20. How about you follow the damn MCP install steps. And install the client jar...
  21. It'd be your computer or your setup. You really think we would ship something that would make a high end computer unplayable? Everyone else here can play MC just fine with Forge installed.
  22. So, you install the client version of the mod, on the server, and wonder why it's not working....
  23. It would probably be because of nothing related to the forge builds. This system has been in place for a while.
