Description of issue:
The player tries joining and gets kicked shortly after with the output: Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: Badly compressed packet - size of 2099809 is larger than protocol maximum of 2097152

it seems like its something else(removed waila(etc.) from the mod list) the player still cant join, even though other players can join

[the chunk the player is trying to spawn in is not corrupted/broken in any way]

Try 1.16.5-36.1.25 and provide us with the logs from both sides.

I added some extra logging to make it easier to figure out what packet is being bad.

I do Forge for free, however the servers to run it arn't free, so anything is appreciated.

I originally put in latest.log, but then changed contents to the debug.log w/o changing filename. my bad.
