June 3, 20214 yr If you want to change a block at a location to be something, you need the BlockState representation of what you want that block to be. You haven't said what you want to happen, just that you want to change the blockstate, so "where you get that blockstate" can't be answered because I could say "Use Blocks.STONE.getDefaultState()" but if you didn't want to change the block at the targetted location to stone, that wouldn't be useful, now would it? Apparently I'm a complete and utter jerk and come to this forum just like to make fun of people, be confrontational, and make your personal life miserable. If you think this is the case, JUST REPORT ME. Otherwise you're just going to get reported when you reply to my posts and point it out, because odds are, I was trying to be nice.
