Can't open the forge file

When i try to open the forge file in my folder (version) it cuts to black screen and then closes it self, so i cant use it in mc

sorry, setting up modded minecraft is not just "double click a weird file you downloaded and everything works on its own".

what file did you download?
what is the output when you run it through command prompt? (look up how to run a jar through command prompt)
do you have mojang account or a microsoft account (having purchased the minecraft java edition)?
