Forge won't open: crashes after launch

Whenever I try to play minecraft using forge (1.18.2 version) it will launch the game but crashes before getting past the MOJANG screen.

I then get the message: "The game crashed whilst initializing game Error: java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: f_157463_ Exit Code: -1"

All my javas up-to-date as I thought that was the issue at first. Running the normal minecraft or optifine works. I've reinstalled forge and the launcher, haven't solved it.

I have the crash report if that is helpful. (Hopefully the URL works)

Does anyone know how to fix this? Thank you.

Did you use Optifine? If yes remove it, if not post full debug log and please use https://gist.github.com/ to upload the log

Nevermind!! Turns out a mod was messing with the version of forge. I've sorted it
