Hi!

I'm trying to change the public final field "debugRenderer":

if (Minecraft.getInstance().debugRenderer instanceof DebugRenderer
		&& !(Minecraft.getInstance().debugRenderer instanceof MyDebugRenderer)) {
		Field debugRendererField = Minecraft.class.getField("debugRenderer");
		debugRendererField.setAccessible(true);
		debugRendererField.set(Minecraft.getInstance(), new MyDebugRenderer(Minecraft.getInstance()));
}

It throws a NoSuchFieldException because it can't find the field "debugRenderer". But the Minecraft.class has a field called debugRenderer:

public final DebugRenderer debugRenderer;

and I don't understand why it's crashing

(I tried using

Minecraft.class.getDeclaredField("debugRenderer");

, still crashing)

Edit:

It does work in the dev environment, just not when I build the mod and place the jar in the .mods folder

Thanks, now it works!
But will it now also work in the dev environment?
