Thanks for the reply Diesieben,

here are the new debug and launcher logs:

debug: https://pastebin.com/51gYkxYa

Launcher https://pastebin.com/nQBhzfKC

The Launcher.log came from %appdata%/.minecraft/

Funny thing is that after I started the game at 17:27, there are events in the debug log, but nothing in the launcher.log (well with the 17:27 timestamp) The file itself however does have a timestamp of 17:27.

Hope you can help

Sorry Luis_ST, I dont know what you mean. You can´t see the log on pastebin or do you mean it doesn´t exist or is private on my machine?

Thanks.

After deleting (renaming) the file, the game went through a 'preparing' progress bar, which it didn´t before. After a short while the game window came up with an error message:

Game Crashed, may be caused by invalid Java Runtime configuration........ etc. Exit code 1

here is the current debug.log https://pastebin.com/nCULqfrb

and the Launcher.log   https://pastebin.com/Xeyb3gSA

thanks for the replies and help sofar!
