All the sudden, my modded minecraft will not start again

I've been playing modded minecraft for the past 3-4 weeks. It's been going pretty good up till recently. I keep getting this error:

The game crashed whilst rendering overlay

Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: Failed to load

description for particle mekanism:laser

Problem with Mekanism. Make sure you use the latest version of the mod. If you already use the latest version of the mod report the bug to the mod author.

Thank you. Copying the saves and uninstalling the game fixed it.
