Minecraft Forge Installer Help

Hi everyone, I tried installing Forge today and the installer installs fine, but when i load minecraft following the instructions on the wiki, nothing loads and I'm stuck on Vanilla Minecraft. Anyone that can help?

you're running the 1.6 minecraft launcher aren't you?

 

there's a drop down menu, the forge installer will have placed a new option there....

 

 

if it hasn't, then your assertion that the installer has installed fine isn't true - and you'll have to go back to that step.
