Seems to be a mod datapack error(?)

I'm not quite sure of the error but I believe it has something to do with immersive engineering. I previously tried adding some mods and ended up removing most of them and a datapack problem came up. I re-added all the mods but a problem that previously hadn't been there with immersive engineering occurred. Confused on what to do but have literally no clue so I've come back yet again.

Your question is unanswerable. You need to explain better what the problem is.

The log does not match what you are talking about.

There is nothing related to an immersive engineering error.

There is this:

````
[19Jul2022 12:19:24.041] [Render thread/ERROR] [net.minecraftforge.common.loot.LootModifierManager/]: Couldn't parse loot modifier upgradednetherite:fortune_tool
java.lang.NullPointerException: Cannot invoke "com.google.gson.JsonElement.isJsonObject()" because "element" is null
````

Which means the mod author for updgradednetherite has a badly written loot table json.

But this does not stop the game loading from what I can see?

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.

Ok I can try explaining it better.

Essentially after I did what I previously mentioned with deleting and readding the mods, the world I'm attempting to play on ceases to load. It'll get to 100% and then half of it would disappear and it would just stay like that. The game would still respond but the world wouldn't load for hours on end.

This sounds like one of your mods is looping

or something has stopped working without reporting an error and not crashing the game?

The last entries in the log are some periodic stuff related to refined storage:

Quote

[18Jul2022 21:51:11.006] [Server thread/DEBUG] [com.refinedmods.refinedstorage.apiimpl.network.node.ExternalStorageNetworkNode/]: Connectivity state of external storage at BlockPos{x=-1430, y=0, z=1245} changed to true due to GRAPH_CHANGE

some of these are spaced seconds apart which suggests the server thread is still working.

My suggestion would be uninstall optifine, to see if that fixes your problem.

That is always the first candidate when weird things happen. 🙂

If you have other graphics optimisation mods you can try removing those as well.
