glitch with installation

Hi, theres a problem when I try to install forge on 1.18.2, it says
"Failed to run processor: javax.net.ssl.SSLHansshakeException:sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
See log for more details."
Can someone help me please ?

You don't post this. It will be in the same place as where you downloaded the installer jar.

 

The error is usually caused by having an old version of java, make sure you have it updated to a recent version.

It can also be caused by broken entries in your operating system's hosts file.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
