SSL handshake crash?

The game crashed whilst there was a severe problem during mod loading that has caused the game to fail Error: net.minecraftforge.fml.common.LoaderException: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target

I don't understand, i'm not using any SSL in my code. I am also using java 17

    This error is often indicative of an outdated Java version. Please ensure your Java version is up to date. You can download OpenJDK from the Adoptium project.
    If the error persists after updating your Java version, please post the full log as well as the contents of %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts (Windows) or /etc/hosts (Mac, Linux).
