[Solved]Adding items to the creative inventory, but from within another package

Featured Replies

I look at tutorials for adding items to the creative inventory.

I used the "standard" way (a.k.a onTickInGame and onTickInGUI)

But when I got to (GuiContainerCreative) it isnt visible because my package isnt net.minecraft.src

The only ways I could think of fixing this is...

*Changing my package

*Making a class in net.minecraft.src

Try this:

 public void addCreativeItems(ArrayList itemList)
{
	itemList.add(new ItemStack(this));
}

Use it in every Block/Item class that you want in the Creative mode inventory

Here is an example from my mod:

package texasjake95.MYMOD;
import java.util.ArrayList;
import net.minecraft.src.*;
import net.minecraft.src.forge.*;

public class ItemClass1 extends Item implements ITextureProvider{

public ItemClass1(int par1) {
	super(par1);
	maxStackSize = 64;
}
public String getTextureFile()
    {
            return "/MYMOD/Resources/Items.png";
    }
    public void addCreativeItems(ArrayList itemList)
{
	itemList.add(new ItemStack(this));
}
}
