iSolazze
I'm trying to connect to one of my modded servers (1.19.2) but everytime I click connect this error comes up [ Internal Exception: io.netty.handler.codec.DecoderException: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException: readerIndex(19139) + length(1) exceeds writerIndex(19139): PooledUnsafeDirectByteBuf(ridx: 19139, widx: 19139, cap: 19139/19139)]. I deleted the jvm argument and added -Dforge.logging.mojang.level=debug instead, as someone else in a thread said to do. Plz help me. here is the pastebin: https://pastebin.com/f7Ry79jy Edited December 31, 2022 by iSolazze
warjort
The error indicates a bug in one of your mods networking code. The jvm argument you added, just enables debug logging for Mojang's networking code. You don't post a link to your logs/debug.log Usually with this kind of problem, the only way to find the broken mod is to experiment with removing mods until the problem goes away. Backup your world before removing mods. Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post. iSolazze
Would you be able to help if i added the debug log? https://pastebin.com/f7Ry79jy
warjort
Quote 30Dec.2022 21:57:36.654] [main/ERROR] [net.minecraftforge.fml.loading.ModSorter/LOADING]: Missing or unsupported mandatory dependencies: Mod ID: 'valhelsia_core', Requested by: 'valhelsia_structures', Expected range: '[1.19.2-0.4.0,)', Actual version: '[MISSING]' Mod ID: 'yungsapi', Requested by: 'betterstrongholds', Expected range: '[1.19.2-Forge-3.8.0,)', Actual version: '[MISSING]' Mod ID: 'yungsapi', Requested by: 'yungsbridges', Expected range: '[1.19.2-Forge-3.8.0,)', Actual version: '[MISSING]' Mod ID: 'valhelsia_furniture', Requested by: 'valhelsia_structures', Expected range: '[1.19.2-1.0.0,)', Actual version: '[MISSING]' Mod ID: 'yungsapi', Requested by: 'bettermineshafts', Expected range: '[1.19.2-Forge-3.8.0,)', Actual version: '[MISSING]' That doesn't look like the correct log. It shows an error where you have 5 missing mods. It's only in rare circumstances the debug.log will actually identify a mod with broken networking. The error normally occurs within netty (a networking library) which knows nothing about minecraft let alone mods. Quote Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. warjort
There is no error in that log it just says the client disconnected. If the error is logged at all it will be on the client.
