Exiting with -1
Process exited with code -1 (0xffffffffffffffff).
Please note that usually neither the exit code, nor its description are enough to diagnose issues!
Always upload the entire log and not just the exit code.

I am having similar problems, but t is launching. My problem is that, while everything else is working fine, when i launch Minecraft through multimc, none of the mods i installed take effect. I have mods like immersive portals, buildcraft, etc, and what i end up playing is vanilla Minecraft. I am not sure if it is because i use linux Ubuntu, but it should be working. I did all the steps correctly, i hope, and none of the mods are working. What should i do?

Issues with your launcher should be reported to them.

If you really suspect the problem is with forge, you need to provide the logs/debug.log so we can see what is happening.

Boilerplate:

If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one.

If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install

Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com  You should also read the support forum sticky post.
