Posted January 18, 20232 yr For example, how could I combine a "Hello" with ChatFormatting.RED and a "World" with Chatformatting.YELLOW into a chat component looking like this: HelloWorld? Edited January 18, 20232 yr by Lucie Issue was solved.
January 18, 20232 yr MutableComponent.withStyle() and related methods. As you could easily find out for yourself if you used your IDE to search for uses of ChatFormatting.RED. e.g. ItemStack.getTooltipLines() Boilerplate: If you don't post your logs/debug.log we can't help you. For curseforge you need to enable the forge debug.log in its minecraft settings. You should also post your crash report if you have one. If there is no error in the log file and you don't have a crash report then post the launcher_log.txt from the minecraft folder. Again for curseforge this will be in your curseforge/minecraft/Install Large files should be posted to a file sharing site like https://gist.github.com You should also read the support forum sticky post.
January 18, 20232 yr Author I had open the MutableComponent's class before posting the thread but looking at that implementation to create multi-colored lines seemed messy and unofficial, but ill take it if it's the only option. ItemStack#getTooltipLines didn't help this case so much but thanks for trying!
